The second cohort of our successful Social Media Preneur programme. Teaching young people how to leverage digital platforms for business, branding, and positive influence.

Our inaugural Social Media Preneur cohort was a huge success. We empowered young creatives with the tools to build their personal brands and launch digital businesses.

Female Hackney
A newly emerging sisterhood aimed at uplifting women of African and Caribbean heritage in Hackney's community. Based in the Youth Programmes team at Hackney CVS, the project works on social pressures affecting Black women and addresses issues related to mental health, self-love, and self-acceptance.

Hackney Detached Outreach
A targeted detached outreach programme engaging young people directly in their communities. Our team builds trust, provides mentorship, and connects youth with positive opportunities.

Positive ID Wellbeing Champions
Working with 30 young people across Hackney and Brent to train them as Wellbeing Champions in their schools. This peer-led initiative empowers students to support mental health awareness among their peers.

Using detached outreach to signpost young people to Positive East for vital advice on relationships, sexual health, and STI testing. Connecting youth with confidential support services.

Rise Up East Detached Outreach
A collaborative outreach effort in Hackney Wick, working alongside Wickers Charity to engage young people in positive activities and divert them from anti-social behaviour.

VRU Detached Outreach
As part of the Innovation Fund given by the VRU, we piloted a new initiative to deliver detached outreach in Hackney and link the young people we engaged to employment opportunities.
